It was on our way to the Dordogne to pick up some items (jams, compotes cooked in copper cauldrons) that we decided to stop off at La Table d’Isa.
We were greeted by the chef’s husband in the kitchen. A very warm, smiling man who immediately put us at ease, presented the menu and recommended a few dishes.
And we weren’t disappointed. Simple, tasty dishes with delicate flavors. Honestly, when we entered this restaurant, we didn’t expect to find such flavors!
We’ve all had pasta with chicken a million times! But here! Unbeatable. Tender, flavorful chicken cooked with bacon… a real treat!
